Current Association Objectives / Activities

To develop a comprehensive Policy & Procedure manual.

To increase the membersip of CSHT and develop a detailed membership database.

To set and maintain an annual budget and accounting system based on revenue from annual membership dues.

Maintain financially responsible and affordable membership dues.

To facilitate regional networking by actively promoting regional representatives.

To support national continuing education opportunities.

To publish newsletters (at least 3 / year) that include regional updates, continuing education calendar, clinical information, and updates an CSHT executive committee activities.

To liase with MANUS (Canadian Society for Surgery of the Hand).

To have an informal liaison relationship with the American Society for Hand Therapists (ASHT).

To participate as an active member of the International Federation of Societies for Hand Therapy (IFSHT).
